Under the Tenant Fees Act 2019, landlords and letting agents are prohibited from charging tenants fees in connection with a tenancy, with limited exceptions. Below you will find details of any permitted payments.
Permitted Payments

Holding Deposit
Capped at one week's rent to reserve a property.
Security Deposit
Capped at five weeks' rent where annual rent is under £50,000.
Rent
Monthly rent as agreed in the tenancy agreement.
